As an endowed research chair and associate dean for research at several universities, he has effectively mentored faculty and clinical staff to become productive scholars in producing funded proposals, published manuscripts, and presentations at scientific meetings, all contributing to the advancement of healthcare scholarship. He also has extensive experience in analyzing large clinical data sets that provide evidence to guide evidence-based practice in healthcare.
